Palo Alto Legal Secretaries Association (PALSA)
Palo Alto Legal Secretaries Association (PALSA) is one of 60 local
chapters of Legal Secretaries, Incorporated (LSI), a nonprofit
corporation organized by legal secretaries in 1934 for the purpose of
providing educational and professional development programs to its
members. Since receiving its charter in 1977, PALSA has grown from 15
charter members to an organization of over 150.

Since 1929, Legal Secretaries, Incorporated (California) - a nonprofit
mutual benefit corporation - has served legal secretaries and law
office support staff in California with a variety of programs and
services.

Association of Legal Assistants

paralegals. Incorporated in 1975, NALA is an integral part of the legal

Area Legal Secretaries Forum
The Bay Area Legal Secretaries Forum, a nonprofit corporation, was
organized in 1966 by legal secretaries from nine Bay Area counties to
fill a need for continuing education for legal secretaries. With a
membership of 45, the Forum holds three quarterly workshops in the Bay
Area each year (July, October, and January) and two large,
multi-workshop seminars in the spring.

The San Francisco Paralegal Association (SFPA) is a nonprofit
organization comprised of individual members. The purposes are to
represent the paralegal profession as an independent, self-directed
profession, to enable paralegals to enhance their professional
