    5 POINT SCREENING PROCESS


    MATCHING: Interpersonal Skills vs. Corporate Culture

    KBA works with our candidates to find positions that match their personal style and comfort level with the corporate culture they will be working in, which is just as important as the ability side of your background. We do this in a multistep process.

    1. We do this by determining what is important to you as a person, how you operate and the kind of chemistry you are looking for. Specifically, what kind of environment do you enjoy working in: do you tend to be formal or laid back, do you like to work as an individual producer or part of a team, do you like to focus on the people side of the law or the technical side, how do you manage your time, do you tend to be a type A or type B personality, do you take charge of things on your own or wait until you are asked, how do others perceive you, what kind of time frame do you like to operate in, etc.
    2. We ask you to describe your prior jobs and assignments from an interpersonal standpoint, which situations have you worked best in and which were most challenging?
    3. We determine what kind of environment would be best suited to employ your abilities and talents for your long term career development.
    4. We search out those organizations that have the kind of corporate culture that you are looking for. As these kind of things tend to be intangible and are very difficult to document from literature or web sites, we rely on our experience in dealing with these companies and people who have been associated with them to get this type of information.
