    5 POINT SCREENING PROCESS

MATCHING: Financial Requirements vs. Compensation Range

KBA works with our candidates to find them positions commensurate with their financial requirements, abilities and experience, via a multistep process.

    1. We do this by first assessing the marketplace, using KBA's Bay Area salary surveys that we typically update at least twice a year, or as changes in the market dictate. This survey provides compensation ranges based on both tenure and job specs and within regions in the Bay Area. Jobs outside the Bay Area will reflect that market.
    2. Once we have this frame of reference, we see where your expectations fit within that grid and how your accomplishments may help you to reach your goals.
    3. We then factor into compensation all aspects of a remuneration package: base salary, bonuses, incentive, stock options, deferred compensation, perks, etc., to get the best blend that works for you.
    4. We then evaluate career growth potentials to see where you may be down the road in terms of compensation, advancement and intangibles.
    5. We will then work with you to find those opportunities that match the above factors for the best fit and satisfaction for both employer and employee.
    6. We will then help you negotiate a compensation package. We will work with you to get a good and equitable deal accepted. We believe that the only deal that works out for the long term are "win-win" packages for both parties.
    7. When we feel that your expectations are not realistic given the realities of the marketplace, we will advise you regarding modifications of your expectations.
